Talk about letting your "soul glow", (no pun intended), these ladies show the right way to wear bronzer which according to Megan Shea (via Afrobella blog), is a summer make up staple, along with a highlighting product, a complexion product, mascara & lip gloss, all of which will help you create a signature summer look, you can read more here. Megan also suggest mixing NARS Illuminator (or any liquid bronzer - gold based) with your tinted moisturizer or liquid foundation or you can wear it alone, set with powder for a quick easy look for everyday. I have read and heard some really great reviews on the NARS Illuminator, the Laguna color is definitely on my wish list! Lianne Farbes of The Makeup Girl says "highlighters and illuminators are your best friend" she to also suggests "mixing an illuminator or highlighter with your foundation or tinted moisturizer, which will give you skin a very subtle glow", you can read more here.
CELEBRITY LOOKS TO ENVY

I'm giving you all kinds of Au Natural, Sun Kissed, Blushing Beauty, Edgy and Daring looks today, and whom better to get inspiration from all things fashion and beauty related than celebrities? Loving Jill Scott's teal eye liner, and Nia Long's "bronze glow" is so on point, Kerri Washington's sun kissed look; blushed cheeks and nude lip, and bronzer is a look I must copy, Rhianna, well what can you say? That purple/blue-ish eyeshadow is the business and pairing it with a beige nude lip is just the balance that her dramatic eye shadow needed, and Lauren Hill is killing me softly with that teal eye shadow, dark brown lips and a hint of cream blush on the cheeks.

I hope these makeup options I have given you inspire you to play up your current makeup look or to add at least 1 to 2 must-haves to your regimen, I hope you're encouraged to be a little more dramatic, and to play with color, I tried to give examples for every hue/skin tone of brown imaginable and I hope this post was as informative for you as it was fun for me to research, it's always a labor of love for me to bring these post to you, and remember ladies a good skin care regimen and a facial SPF 15+ is a must and do not forget PRIMER, apply it to clean moisturized skin prior to foundation for complexion perfection. I love primers because they improve the texture of your skin and make everything go on super smooth for a airbrush and flawless finish. There are a variety of primers on the market, and the benefits are varied as well, some primers have SPF, some offer anti-aging benefits, some offer skin correcting benefits, some reduce pore size, fine lines and excess oil which is a must in warmer and humid areas, a primer will help makeup to stay in place and not melt. Bare Essentials and Smashbox's "Photo Finish Foundation Primer" are excellent primers.
Get your glow on ladies and Happy Friday!
