What inspires me?
Creativity, I love music, I couldn’t imagine a world without it, I’m inspired by art in all it’s diverse mediums, I am inspired by sunsets, their burnt orange, gold, purple, teal, all mixtures of blues, brush strokes of mauve and goldish-pinks, tiny hints of light green, a whisper of blood orange…then night sets in. I am inspired by being near water, the ocean; what lies beneath the depths below? Fashion & interior, travel and architecture magazine and design books inspire me, organic shapes, texture, fabrics swatches, vintage styled art, and vintage fashions, people watching, old movies, destinations catalogs from Anthropologie, Free People, exotic and far away places, mysteries I have yet to discover inspire, profound lyrics from songs of regret, longing, redemption and lyrics that champion love, lust, procession and what was never meant to be. I am infatuated with a feeling of nostalgia, an I’ve been here before, I’ve smelled that before, I’ve touched that before, I’ve lived that before, in another time…perhaps.
